HOW DID BOOKS 'N BLUES START?

"Books 'n Blues" was started by  New York Times bestselling author Lewis Perdue who decided he wanted to give something back to his home state and to America's armed forces.

"Books 'n Blues," began when Perdue decided to tithe 5% of the royalties from Perfect Killer to The Sunflower County Sunflower County Freedom Project, 5% to The Mississippi Center for Justice and 5% to the National Military Family Association. Click here to learn more about how the idea developed.
